Manipulation therapy with other modalities for successful outcomes

Chiropractic

At Core Concepts, we’re always focused on treating the cause of your back pain, not just your symptoms. For years we have been providing Chiropractic care to the Tri-Cities area. Manipulation has traditionally been the method of choice utilized by chiropractors in treating various musculoskeletal symptoms and conditions. Although we realize the importance of restoring proper range of motion and enhancing muscular movement, recent research has shown that manipulations are the most effective when combined with other forms of alternative therapies. Our well rounded and comprehensive treatment approach combines manipulation with several other modalities to produce the longer lasting outcomes and effective functional results for our patients.

Manipulation therapy

The Manipulation is a specific procedure performed at Core Concepts applied to several joints of the body including the joints of the spine (neck, mid back, lower back), pelvis, and extremities. The function of a manipulation is to compliment the other alternative therapies and strengthening protocols to improve the mobility and restore proper range of motion of the various joints of the body, listed above. Manipulation also functions to enhance movement of the adjacent muscles. Patients generally experience an improved ability to move the manipulated joint more fluidly with increased range of motion, decreased pain, soreness, and stiffness.
